Gorilla NC Fusion Plating System

The Gorilla® NC Fusion Plating System offers surgeons anatomically contoured plates to span the Naviculocuneiform joint to address arthritic joint pain of the midfoot as well as flatfoot deformities.

The plates are specifically designed to capture the best bone and achieve compression across multiple joints with 4 plate screws and a 5th PRECISION™ guided screw outside the plate.

A locking screw in the plate allows for fixation between the proximal medial navicular to the intermediate cuneiform. A second locking screw in the navicular helps guard against plantar gapping, while two distal screws in the medial cuneiform have the ability to be placed across one, two or three cuneiforms.

4 trial templates allow for intraoperative trialling to help ensure plate and screws are positioned to achieve best fit and intended compression.

Product Description

The Gorilla® NC Fusion Plating System includes 8 specific plates available in 4 different sizes.

All plates are 1.5 mm thick.

Each circular screw hole accommodates a 2.7, 3.5 and 4.2 mm non-locking and locking polyaxial screw. The locking screws feature “Cheaters Lag”.

A Precision® Guide NC Fusion allows for placement of a 3.5, 4.0, 4.5 or 5.5 mm crossing lag screw that passes from the medial cuneiform to the lateral aspect of the navicular while maintaining on-axis placement of plate screws. It provides 3 trajectories of wire paths for variations among patient anatomy.
